Minute patrimoine : Épis et estacade
SAINTE-ADRESSE
Description
Minute patrimoine – Organized by Pays d’art et d’histoire.
One Wednesday a month at 12:30 pm, we invite you to take a 30-minute look at a significant element of our local heritage, and encourage you to continue your exploration with a visit or lecture a few days later.
Surrounded on both sides by groynes that have acted as natural dikes since the 16th century, the estacade remains a symbol of the sea-bathing craze and Impressionist painting in Sainte-Adresse from the mid-19th century onwards.
Meet at the foot of the pier, Sainte-Adresse.
Free, no reservation required.
