Description

Nature and coastal outing organized by the Seine-Maritime department – Aquacaux.

A military structure erected at the end of the 19th century on the heights of Cap de la Hève, the building was used to monitor the estuary after the dismantling of Le Havre’s fortifications. During the Second World War, the complex became part of the German Atlantic Wall. A two-voice tour offers a historical and natural interpretation of this eminently strategic site.

Comfortable shoes and clothing essential.
Meet at the Dollemard Battery – Access via the staircase near 53 rue Jean Bart, Sainte-Adresse.
