Between June 5 and September 12, 1944, Montivilliers witnessed a series of significant events. The British glider that fell on our soil, the hiding of American airmen by local Resistance fighters, German reprisal fire and the presence of Belgian and British troops in preparation for the great attack against the defenses of Le Havre are just a few examples.
Day by day, these events will be presented on the very sites where they took place. A great way to start the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Montivilliers.
