Description

The architectural and maritime landscape of the Pointe d’Escaut has recently been transformed, and today offers a green and mineral space that connects the city and the port. This area is at the crossroads of Le Havre’s port heritage from different eras and its own industrial and urban identity.

This tour will enable you to trace the thread of these constantly intersecting developments, and understand the current activity. Meet up at the Dockers? bell to follow the LH Port Center guide, who will recount the neighborhood?s anecdotes. Then, meet Cyril Dussaux, in charge of nautical development for the City of Le Havre, who will put the renewal of this area into context. Finally, you’ll be welcomed by Jean-Marc Estival, President of the Conservatoire Maritime Havrais, which renovates boats from the past and present.

Meeting point : Cloche des Dockers.
