Combining heritage and sport, “muscle and spirit” as Pierre de Coubertin used to say, is the aim of this original tour format designed by the Pays d’art et d’histoire and LH en forme.

With the Paris 2024 Olympic Games just around the corner, don your sports gear for a fun and dynamic way to discover Le Havre’s heritage In the company of a guide-lecturer and a sports coach, Le Havre and its beach are transformed into a sports field. Between stretching sessions and gentle gymnastics, rediscover the urban and maritime environment in a friendly atmosphere.

From Sainte-Adresse to the Porte Océane, this stroll along the beach deciphers the evolution of the maritime landscape by comparing the works of the painters who immortalized the waterfront with today’s panorama. Les Brindes cliffs, villas, cabins, Alexandre Chemetoff?s developments, reconstruction… The guide retraces two centuries of intense transformation.
