Les 19èmes Prieurales (2ème journée)

Description

This time it’s on: I’m announcing the 19th Prieurales, an international festival of medieval music.
This year, two ensembles will be in the spotlight: the Quarte&graal ensemble, well known to festival regulars, and the Fortuna ensemble directed by Jean-Lou Descamps, programmed for the first time in Le Havre.

In June, on Saturday 28th, the Fortuna ensemble will be joined by trainees at the Abbaye de Graville, preceded by a concert by the Compagnie Brassy from the Conservatoire, a guided tour of the Abbey focusing on the representations of musical instruments in the sculptures, and musical entertainment by Vercoquin. On Sunday, as in previous years, we will be holding a medieval festival in the Jardins Suspendus, with the participation of all the festival musicians (Quarte&graal, Fortuna, Compagnie Brassy) and the Aisling1198 and Vercoquin camps

Friday, June 28, 2024 at 6pm at the Arthur Honegger Conservatory: Compagnie Brassy audition with members of Les Prieurales.
Saturday June 29, 2024 at Graville Abbey:
At 3pm, concert by the Brassy company
4pm, guided tour of the Abbey
4:30pm, musical entertainment by Vercoquin
At 6pm, concert by the Fortuna ensemble and the April trainees
Sunday June 30, 2024 at the Jardins Suspendus: medieval festival. With the Fortuna and Quarte&graal ensembles, the Brassy company and the Vercoquin and Aisling-1198 camps
