The Porte de Rouen is one of three gates that gave access to the town of Harfleur in the Middle Ages. Comprising a boulevard and a gateway to the military port, the remains are still clearly visible today. In 2006, the town council decided to restore the site. As you climb the medieval ramparts, take a trip back in time to discover what it was like to live in the Middle Ages during the Hundred Years’ War, and how we remember it today.
