Created in 2004 by the association Papa’s Production, Ouest Park Festival, dedicated to contemporary music, has taken off and is enjoying growing success spreading more and more outside the walls. The choice of a bold and somewhat crazy programming probably contributed to this success.

After being held in Harfleur for 5 years, since 2009 it has taken up residence in Le Havre, within the Fort de Tourneville, a former military wasteland that has been redesigned and redeveloped to make it a place of culture and life open to all. Alongside the Tetris, a major venue for contemporary music concerts in our city, it’s found a very appropriate venue here!

A 3-day non-stop music festival

As for any big village festival, tents, stages, photo and video caravans, games and bar points are set up for 3 days of the most eclectic music to the delight of a very varied intergenerational audience in a very good-natured atmosphere.

Just as the artists are all extremely different from each other, so is the audience.

There are the ever-present diehards who come along with a precise programme, that of listening to music which includes rock, rap, electro, jazz and world, and those, simple onlookers, who just enjoy this unusual venue with a background of music and its relaxed atmosphere, just for the pleasure of meeting, interacting and enjoying the experience, in the balmy first days of autumn.

Passes are sold for all 3 days, and Sunday is open to all with free concerts.
