Monti’spectacle : Kiltaclou
MONTIVILLIERS
Description
Les Monti?Spectacles en bas de chez moi are back for another season! Come and discover these shows, which have taken place in close proximity to the residents of Montivilliers’ various neighborhoods, enabling a wide audience to enjoy a variety of free performances.
A walkabout, a participatory concert for the whole family. After hundreds of hours and miles of wandering, the Kiltaclou brotherhood present their battery-powered electric show.
It’s a tried-and-tested form of strolling: colorful, hard-hitting, always a little offbeat and joyfully crazy! We all let ourselves be carried away by the energy of this crazy family. Ringo’s poumtchaks, Rita’s danceable groove and the guitar double-hooks of little brother Ricky, self-proclaimed best guitarist in the world, sublimate a contemporary double entendre: “Down with the bees, they’re ugly and they sting!
Suddenly, we find ourselves accosted by this zany, offbeat trio who dance, sing, play and have fun with everything.
And so, as if magnetized by their subversive, colorful silliness, we follow them through the streets, following their improvised delirium. Whether it’s a dog, a pair of fluorescent Bermuda shorts or a baguette, everything is a pretext for jokes and music…
Soon, young and old alike will find themselves rockers and band members in their own right – a class act!
Ringo lends a tin drum kit, a bucket drum kit…, Ricky lends a mini-guitar and Rita orchestrates the whole thing, using plastic shakers and harmonic pipes to create an organized general beat: improvisation is born in the street!
The little punk siblings are constantly re-inventing themselves, bringing creative, collective and open-minded rock to all audiences. Kiltaclou is a poetic blend of rock and street with Kilts et Clous!
We’ve warned you: they’re silly and … They’re taking it on the chin!
