The tour begins at the Bassin de la Citadelle, where the LH Port Center?s guides take you on a fascinating tour of the port?s history and unveil magnificent photos of birds captured in their natural environment. Look up, look out? even from a distance, wildlife is everywhere!

But the real inhabitants of the ponds are sometimes tiny… That’s where our Natural History Museum guides come in, accompanying you along the way to help you discover the little creatures that swarm beneath the surface. At Bassin de la Barre, you’ll even be able to witness live sampling: a unique opportunity to observe up close these discreet creatures, essential to the balance of these aquatic environments.
