Le Marégraphe is an immersive sound experience capturing the real-time dynamics of the tides in the port of Le Havre.

The work fuses the sounds of the waves, the harbor, boat horns and footsteps on the pebbles, creating an ever-changing composition. Every day of the season, tidal variations influence the intensity, texture and tonality of the sounds, offering a unique sensory experience with every listen. Inviting spectators to experience the Marégraphe from the 17th floor of the Hôtel de Ville tower, the artist offers a two-way immersion. A breathtaking 360° view of the city echoes the musical fluctuations of the marine rhythm, underscoring the fragile balance between nature and industry, port and sea, living music and moving landscape.
