Follow Ismael’s adventure in the heart of the port, between camaraderie, revolt and hopes for a better future.

Le Havre, January 2002. Ismael is hired by the dockworkers, a family with its share of hardships, secrets and laughter. In this opaque, male-dominated world, he makes friends with the “comrades” before witnessing the biggest strike the port has ever seen. The port-death crisis becomes a symbol of barricade, and the container ship a beast to be slaughtered. Embarked by Captain Achab, the men try to believe in a better future.
