The Berger family live on the sixth and top floor of a Paris apartment building. They feel comfortable there, so much so that they would like to enlarge their space and dream of taking over the apartment of the Tissandiers, their friendly neighbors and friends on the fifth floor, to create a lovely duplex.
But the Tissandiers are happy in their apartment and have no intention of moving. So how do they go about it?
The Berger family is left with only one alternative: use any means possible to achieve their goal!
