She dares a queer adaptation that mirrors the post-Metoo era, orchestrating a ballet of creatures who sing and dance to cabaret tunes. The night is a time for unbridled sexual impulses, for secret orgies that go hand in hand with the circles of power, for endless parties where misunderstandings run riot. By day, the characters are the hypocritical puppets of a law firm. By night, vitiated relationships and human foibles are transformed into a waking nightmare, where deception is the rule and morality is a thing of the past. Performed by a troupe of wildly enthusiastic professionals and amateurs, this light, fast-paced production gives pride of place to cross-dressing, while the use of direct cinema immerses us in this cross-fertilization of uninhibited desires. A theater of laughter and unveiling, where doors slam with panache.
