In 2012, in the heart of downtown Lyon, a woman was brutally struck by a young boy on a motocross bike, who was doing an urban rodeo at 80 km/h. Ten years later, her son, who has never ceased to be haunted by the tragedy, has become a journalist.

He observes the way this kind of disaster is used daily to fracture society and pit one segment of opinion against another. By unravelling this family drama, Paul Gasnier reveals two destinies that are being written in parallel, in the same town, and which ignore each other until the day they violently collide.
