About us
The Cotentin schooner Neire Mâove (“black seagull” in Norman dialect) represents this ancient family of boats and combines all the technological refinements acquired before production ceased in the 1930s. She was built as part of the “Bateaux du patrimoine des côtes de France” competition organized by the magazine Chasse-Marée on the occasion of the 1992 Brest maritime festival gathering of traditional riggings. Neire Mâove was launched on July 4, 1992. Home port: Barneville-Carteret (50).

– Must be at least 3 years old, lifejacket mandatory (provided by crew)
– No wheelchairs allowed
– Persons with reduced mobility are not allowed to board.
