Vignette - Les Grandes Voiles 2025

Description

Come aboard the bisquine La Granvillaise for the Grandes Voiles du Havre 2025 in the Bay of Le Havre.

For 2 hours, you’ll be able to appreciate the authentic charm of old rigs sailing “edge to edge”.

Those who wish can slip into the shoes of a sailor, by taking part in the maneuvers: Heave! Tack!

By the way:
In the 19th century, bisquines were typical workboats in the Bay of Mont Saint Michel, in the Granville and Cancale districts. After 1914, no more bisquines were built in either Cancale or Granville. The original plans for the Rose-Marie, built in 1897 by Louis Julienne in Granville, were found and used to build the “La Granvillaise” in 1990. Home port: Granville (50).
