L’Escale du mois : Déambulation séquanienne
LE HAVRE
Description
Le Havre Port Center invites you to a day devoted entirely to the Seine. During l’Escale du Mois de mai, the site invites you to (re)discover the river from a different angle: artistic, geographical and fun.
Through a varied program, take a different approach to the Seine, with guided tours, games, themed tours and screenings.
? Three guided tours to weigh anchor:
Throughout the day, three guided tours will enable you to explore the new temporary exhibition “Amers Remarquables”, presented at the LH Port Center. Accompanied by two passionate guides, you’ll embark on a fluvial stroll through the works, viewpoints and landscapes (times: 11:15am-12:30pm / 2pm-3:15pm / 3:30pm-4:45pm).
? Activities for all:
With family or friends, you’ll be able to take advantage of several activity areas open all day long. Whether you’re a little sailor or a seasoned explorer, there’s something for everyone:
– Water Discovery: a thought-provoking trail to explore our relationship with water: between control, uses, adaptation and the future.
– Estuary games
– Continuous screening: “L’estuaire de la Seine”, a 34-minute documentary film (directed by André Berne and Philippe Laforge) plunges you into the landscapes and issues of the estuary, past and present.
– Self-guided tour: in the forum, discover the jobs and activities of the port world through a fun, interactive information area.
