Exposition : Perret Pop’

LE HAVRE

Sans titre-1

Description

To mark the anniversary of the rebuilt center?s inclusion on UNESCO?s World Heritage List, the Galerie du Théâtre de l?Hôtel de Ville is inviting the L?minuscule association to present its Perret Pop? installation, from May 16 to June 21.

In the form of a participatory installation, visual artist Claire Le Breton invites the public to use custom-made stamps to create a shared vision of the rebuilt center of Le Havre.

Using graphic elements from Auguste Perret’s buildings (columns, clerestories, furniture from the Reconstruction period, etc.), everyone can leave their mark by stamping some of these motifs onto large sheets, which will then be bound to form a giant book to mark this anniversary.

Opening hours:
– tuesday and Friday, 12pm to 6pm
– wednesday 9.30am to 11.30am and 12.30pm to 6pm
– thursday from 2pm to 6pm.
