Exposition : Audrey Denis – « Waves » – Quand la peinture devient

LE HAVRE

Sans titre-1

Description

Artist Audrey Denis takes over the CEM with her exhibition “Waves”, an immersive experience in which painting dialogues with sound. Between abstraction and figuration, between emotion and perception, she invites the viewer to a sensory exploration in which each work has its own vibration, its own voice.

A musician, painter, performer and poet, Audrey Denis is a multi-faceted artist with a singular career path who refuses to confine herself to a single medium. Her work is in a perpetual state of flux, where writing, singing, music, the body and clowning combine to form a unique artistic language.

She evolves under two musical identities: Aude Rose, an immersive and sensitive electro project, and Mademoiselle Nightingale, a dreamlike folk universe. At the same time, she passes on her knowledge as a teacher at the CEM and as an art therapist in psychiatric clinics, convinced of the power of art to heal and reveal.

Opening Wednesday, May 7, 6:30 p.m
CEM exhibitions are on view Mondays from 7 pm to 11:30 pm; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2 pm to midnight; Fridays from 5 pm to midnight and Saturdays from 2 pm to 7 pm
