Step behind the scenes of the museum’s renovation: three years of work captured and illustrated with humor by the talented cartoonist Sirou.

Because construction work is never trivial—especially in a museum—we wanted to share the many stages that shaped this project. From site meetings to stone carving, from roof repairs to the restoration of taxidermy specimens, Sirou documented numerous behind-the-scenes moments that usually remain unseen. With wit and a keen eye, he reveals everything visitors couldn’t witness during the museum’s three years of closure.

Visitors are invited to discover the result of this collective effort throughout the exhibition route.
