In common. A collective of twelve dancers of diverse origins take to the stage to the sound of revisited classical pieces and an original musical composition. With spirit and generosity, in colorful street clothes, the performers, brimming with vitality, make the stage the site of their shifting cohabitation, like a distorted mirror of our shared common existences. Multiple combinations constantly redefine relationships within the group. Gestures are repeated in choreographic leitmotifs that punctuate the overall dynamic. And it is our propensity to reproduce, for better or for worse, that is explored here through dance. The mood is as light and joyful as it is serious and earnest, and in this in-between place springs the singular signature of Italian choreographer Ambra Senatore, director of the CCN de Nantes.
