As part of the Les mouvements minuscules program, a project of choreographic commissions for young children, Amala Dianor created this sparkling dance show for very young audiences. Amala Dianor?s dynamic and playful duet explores the interactions and meeting points between different styles, from classical dance to hip-hop and contemporary. Set to an eclectic soundtrack hybridizing classical references and Senegalese griot songs, this light-hearted choreographic fantasy plays on the rich contrasts between the performers, exploring the motif of the shell in hide-and-seek games that provoke laughter and surprise. In a ballet of whirling umbrellas and modular nesting huts, energies fuse, telescope and merge in a tangy assortment that has the color of childhood confetti.
