This year, Harfleur’s traditional Bastille Day fireworks display is moving to a new location due to ongoing tramway construction works, which have made the usual site inaccessible. This change also provides an opportunity for the town to introduce a refreshed format, designed to offer greater comfort, conviviality, and an even more festive atmosphere.

For this edition, visitors are invited to the beautiful grounds of the Town Hall Park for a summer evening dedicated to celebration and togetherness. From early evening, families and friends can enjoy a range of activities, including games, inflatable attractions, food trucks, and a popular dance party hosted by the band Le Club François.

As night falls, the spotlight turns to Legends of Fire, a spectacular musical fireworks show and the highlight of the evening. Step into a world where flames bring ancient myths to life. Combining music, pyrotechnics, and storytelling, the show transforms sparks into dragons, heroes, and dancing stars, creating an enchanting Celtic-inspired adventure where light and fire reinvent legendary tales.

And because a great evening should not end with the final fireworks, the festivities will continue afterwards with the return of the popular dance party, inviting visitors of all ages to keep celebrating late into the night.

This new organisation will also improve accessibility and visitor comfort while preserving the welcoming and community spirit that has made Harfleur’s Bastille Day celebrations such a success.

A new format, a new atmosphere, and an exceptional setting—but always the same desire: to come together and celebrate summer and Bastille Day.
