Located on the heights of the village, the charming hotel Le Donjon faces the sea and the cliffs of Etretat. From there, the view is unforgettable, and the cuisine of young Chef Gabin Bouguet too. Child of the Pays de Caux, Gabin Bouguet knows perfectly the land and the sea which saw him be born 32 years ago. This is where his passion for cooking comes from: the taste of fresh, local and seasonal produce.
At the head of the brigade of the gourmet restaurant of the Donjon since the end of 2018, he has gradually asserted his style until offering a menu based solely on local fish, shellfish, crustaceans and plants. The refinement, consistency and creativity of our Chef have led him to his first Michelin star in January 2021. A star which obviously also salutes the work of Pastry Chef Aurélien Helfrich, and all the kitchen teams and room of the Dungeon.
The lounges, the patio, the terrace with a bird’s eye view of the sea offer an exceptional setting that deserves our attention to offering an equally unique culinary experience.
While waiting for authorization to reopen its doors, the Donjon’s gourmet restaurant offers room service or take-out menus, as well as delivery up to 30km around Etretat.
