The Alkemia vocal ensemble, under the direction of Thérèse Louvet, invites you on an a cappella journey where voices explore the boundaries of the sacred and the sensitive.

Through a rich and inspiring program, this concert explores the spiritual and earthly dimensions of human existence, combining contemplation, emotion and sonic power. Each work performed in this program seeks to uplift the soul while celebrating the inseparable link between man and the universe, between the earth that carries us and the sky that inspires us. This program is conceived as a musical ascent, a bridge of sound between earth and sky.

The composers represented here, all contemporary, remind us of the power of the human voice, capable of touching both heart and mind. You are invited to let yourself be carried away by these harmonies, to feel the peace, wonder and depth that emanate from this music. You’ll hear works by Ériks Esenvalds, Ola Gjeilo, Morton Lauridsen and Urmas Sisask, among others.
