Polar à la Plage 2026
LE HAVRE

Description
Created in 2002 by the association Les Ancres Noires, Polar à la Plage has become a major event for crime and noir literature in Le Havre. Each year, the festival brings together established authors and emerging voices, while exploring the connections between crime fiction and other narrative forms. Meetings, readings, debates, performances, and screenings bring this event to life, where stories resonate with one another in a distinctive setting between sea and literature.
The 2026 edition welcomes two guests of honor: Hugues Pagan and Danielle Thiéry, both former police commissioners turned writers.
